IDOX Public Access

IDOX Public Access comprises a suite of spatially enabled, web based applications designed to deliver standard web publishing solutions for specific local authority business areas. IDOX Public Access is easily deployed, is supported as a standard product and requires no customisation other than configuration of the "skin" to suit local branding requirements. All IDOX Public Access modules allow optional customer registration and configuration of profile information by each customer. A customer's profile determines the type of information provided to the customer and frequency with which the information is sent.

IDOX Public Access allows a wide range of searches to be performed including, not just simple address or postcode based searches, but spatially oriented searches such as within an electoral ward or within 500M of a specified location.

IDOX Public Access is available for the following local authority business areas:

  • Planning - Publication of Planning Application information.
  • Building Control - Publication of Building Regulations and Building Standards (Scotland) information.
  • Licensing - Publication of Licence Application information.
  • Environmental Health - Food premises information (Scores on Doors).

A range of related IDOX Consultee Access applications are also available which provide on line consultation facilities for bodies who are required to be consulted on Planning, Building Control and/or Licensing Applications.
