Acolaid Contaminated Land
Simplifies the complex process of identifying and remediating contaminated land.
The system allows information to be shared with other departments to enable Contaminated Land officers to view planning applications made on a site, while Planning officers can check whether a site is considered to be contaminated.
Risk assessment
Acolaid for Contaminated Land incorporates a configurable risk assessment facility that enables prioritisation of sites for investigation.
Site monitoring
Information associated with the investigation, determination, consultaton, remediation and appeal processes, can be easily maintained and accessed.
Spatial processing
Details of site investigations can be linked to the site area identified on the map. Site boundaries marked out on the GIS can be linked to the case record in Acolaid. Alternatively, a case can be created from within the GIS application.
Document management
The system can help reduce the administrative workload by providing a central repository for all incoming and outgoing documentation.
