This component integrates leading optical character recognition (OCR) software with a free text search facility that uses leading Internet technology.

The Knowledge Management Module (KMS) allows simple or complex free text searches on the title as well as the content of documents stored in the document management system. These must either be electronic documents, emails or scanned images that have been converted to text using OCR (software that allows scanned images to be "read").
