Uniform UFIS

Linking frontline services with core business systems.

Customer relationship management (CRM) systems are helping many local authorities deliver better service to citizens, more efficiently and cost-effectively. To help you meet the challenge of integrating your systems to meet government requirements to use CRM throughout your local authority, Idox group and Lagan have joined forces to bring you a CRM solution that offers Uniform integration as standard.

How Uniform Integrated CRM can help

By taking advantage of our Uniform UFIS, your local authority will be able to:

  • Reduce the time, cost, complexity and risk associated with systems integration.
  • Deliver enhanced citizen-focused service and faster response times to requests.
  • Fulfil the Priority Service Outcome requirements relating to information-request handling, by making data held within Uniform easily accessible by customer service representatives.

Why partner with Lagan?

We selected Lagan as our CRM business partner because of its strong market acceptance and the advanced integration capabilities offered by Frontline, its CRM solution for local government. Our close partnership encompasses software development, support and overall business strategy, with the aim of providing sophisticated tools for improved workflow and citizen-focused service delivery.

GIS and Gazetteer Management System integration

The close integration between UFIS and Uniform means you benefit immediately from the combination of CRM and the geographical information system (GIS) technology within Uniform, which ensures greater geographical accuracy when dealing with service requests. Your citizen-focused website can also incorporate mapping information. Uniform Integrated CRM is also integrated with the Uniform Gazetteer Management System (GMS) and its address cross-referencing capability. This means, for instance, that your customer service agents can view information from other property-based systems such as council tax and benefits.
